Duties
Skilled machinist is required within the Engineered Products, Oil field and Aerospace area of the business with experience in Manual Turning or skilled machinists willing to train in this area. To produce components for the oil field, aerospace and related industries in full compliance with customer requirements and in accordance with Company operational, health & safety, quality and technical standards/procedures. To assist in all aspects of manufacture as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

Apprentice/NVQ trained turner
Experience of turning long products
Good standard of numeracy/ literacy and ability to read engineered drawings
Personal attributes: ability to work within a team, good communicator, willingness to learn and participate in improvement initiatives
Ability to interpret, follow and sign off work against fixed machining procedures
