Project Worker
Location: : Doncaster - Barnsley, Chesterfield, Doncaster, Jobs4Network, Rotherham, Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Rate: £ 18.4 K (full-time (per year))
The Role:
Working with young people who are currently outside mainstream education you will be engaging and working with youths with challenging behaviours and/or who are at risk of social exclusion. You need excellent communication skills both written and oral and also able to communicate effectively with young people. You will have good inter-personal skills and be effective working in partnership with other organisations. You will possess organisational skills and an understanding of working to budgets and deadlines and have commitment to community involvement and community capacity building.

Our client is a Doncaster Community Interest Company that provides services to young people who are outside mainstream education using creative and imaginative ways to engage young people.
The Successful Candidate:
You will bring with you an understanding of the current issues concerning youth work and community development in a social inclusion context, combined with experience of working with young people from a variety of ethnic groups and cultural backgrounds. You will have an imaginative and creative approach to work. A relevant youth or community qualification is desirable. CRB check required.
