Part Time English Teacher - PRU - South East London - Immediate / September Start\n\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced and resilient English Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in South East London on a part-time basis.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for somebody passionate about making a genuine difference to the lives of young people who require additional support outside of mainstream education.\n\nThe school supports students with a range of needs including SEMH, challenging behaviour, Autism, ADHD, trauma backgrounds, and pupils at risk of exclusion.\n\nThe Role:\n You will be delivering engaging English lessons to secondary-aged students within a specialist PRU environment, adapting teaching strategies to suit individual learning needs and helping pupils re-engage with education.\n\nResponsibilities Include:\n\nDelivering English lessons across KS3 and KS4\nPlanning and adapting lessons to meet varying learning abilities\nSupporting students with SEMH and behavioural needs\nBuilding positive relationships and promoting engagement\nManaging behaviour in line with school policies and restorative approaches\nWorking closely with support staff and wider professionalsThe Ideal Candidate Will:\n\nHold QTS (Essential)\nHave previous English teaching experience\nPRU, SEN, SEMH, behaviour, or alternative provision experience is highly desirable\nBe calm, resilient, and adaptable\nHave strong behaviour management skills\nBe passionate about supporting vulnerable young peopleThe Role Offers:\n\nPart-time working pattern\nSupportive specialist setting\nOpportunity to make a genuine impact\nLong-term opportunity with potential permanent options\nImmediate and September starts availableIf you are interested in this Part Time English Teacher role within a PRU in South East London, please apply with your updated CV today.\n\nIf you have any questions please call (phone number removed) or ask for Dylan at Remedy Education
