HR Advisor | 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract (Mat Cover) | Tottenham | £42K | Immediate Start | Retail\n\nYou will act as a trusted HR partner, providing expert advice and guidance across the full employee lifecycle while helping to drive people-focused initiatives and projects.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR generalist who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, managing employee relations matters, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.\n\nHR Advisory & Operational Support\n\nProvide professional HR support and guidance to employees and managers\nManage HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract changes and offboarding.\nEnsure all employee records, documentation and HR systems are maintained accurately and compliantly.\nPrepare and analyse HR data, reports and payroll changes to support business decision-making.\nAct as a key user of the HR system, ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.\nSupport a varied workforce including permanent employees, casual workers, consultants and volunteers.\nContribute to continuous improvement across HR policies, processes and ways of working.\nAdvise and support managers on a range of employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases.\nCoach managers to build confidence and capability in managing people-related issues.\nEnsure all ER matters are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation and best practice.\nReview and support the ongoing development of HR policies and procedures. \n\nAbout You\n\nWe are looking for someone who can confidently balance operational HR delivery with strong stakeholder management skills.\n\nYou will ideally have:\n\nPrevious experience in a generalist HR Advisor role in a fast-paced environment similar to retail.\nStrong employee relations knowledge and case management experience.\nUp-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills.\nExperience using HR systems and producing HR data and reports.\nA proactive, organised and solution-focused approach.About Us\n\nWe are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
