Materials and Spares Coordinator

Job Description

Our client has an opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join them on a contract basis in Bolton for 12 months. The main focus of the role will be to manage all parts used in the calibration & maintenance of bespoke test systems on site. This will need to be managed in our SAP system.

\n\nRole: Technical Administrator\nLocation: Bolton, fully onsite\nHours: 37 per week\nClearance: BPSS required before starting, full SC to follow\nHourly Rate: £22.17-£24.19 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\nProviding technical administration support to the ESS & Mechanical Team to ensure programmes are met to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.\n\nManaging Spares.\nFrom COTS (commercial off the shelf) down to components e.g. IC's, connector savers & service kits.\nCreation of calibration and service kits and their redeployment back into our stock holding.\nCreation of material master's with our SAP management system.\nWorking with engineers to ascertain min / max quantity levels.\nOrganisation of current stock and regular stock taking.\nOrdering of new stock.\nUsing Jira to notify people of where items are up to.\nAssisting the Control Team Lead in the management of critical spares.\nLiaising with relevant Engineering function to determine their requirements\nDeploying critical spares packages and managing calibration requirements to minimise downtime to production.\nProviding SAP training and producing documentation for calibration and maintenance specific activities for the control team.Requirements:\n\nExperience and knowledge of managing spares.\nWorking knowledge of the SAP (Systems Applications and Products in data processing) enterprise resource planning system.\nGood analytical and problem solving skills.\nExperience in creating and managing material masters and min / max levels.\nWhilst not essential, a good understanding of calibration principles and processes would be beneficial.\nThe ability to deal with multiple issues, tasks and priorities concurrently.\nAn awareness of budgetary management would be useful.\nKnowledge of SAP would be advantageous but not essential.\nIf you are interested in applying for this position and you meet the requirements, please apply!\n\nLine Up Aviation has carved its own place in the recruitment of Aviation and Aerospace personnel all over the world for more than 30 years.
