Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home\n\nLocation: Maidstone\nSalary: £50,000 – £60,000 (DOE)\nContract: Full-time, Permanent\n\nWe’re supporting a children’s care provider to recruit an experienced Registered Manager for a residential home in Maidstone.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an established Registered Manager with a strong track record of achieving ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted ratings, looking to join a supportive organisation and play a key role in the ongoing development of a high-quality service.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring young people receive high standards of care within a safe, nurturing and structured environment.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\n * Managing the day-to-day operations of the home in line with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015\n\n * Ensuring young people receive high-quality emotional and physical care\n\n * Creating a positive environment with appropriate activities and a comfortable living space\n\n * Building, leading and developing a high-performing staff team\n\n * Providing induction, supervision and appraisals to support staff development\n\n * Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and all regulatory requirements\n\n * Overseeing care planning, risk management and outcomes for young people\n\n * Managing budgets, administration and overall service performance\n\n * Promoting a culture of teamwork, transparency and continuous improvement\n\nThe Ideal Candidate\n\nWe’re keen to speak with experienced Registered Managers who can demonstrate strong leadership and a commitment to high standards.\n\nYou will have:\n\n * Proven experience as a Registered Manager within children’s residential care\n\n * A track record of achieving ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted ratings\n\n * Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks\n\n * Excellent leadership, communication and team development skills\n\n * A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)\n\n * A minimum Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Childcare\n\n * A commitment to ongoing professional development\n\n * Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide references\n\nWhy Apply?\n\n * Join a provider committed to delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes\n\n * Be part of a supportive management team and wider organisation\n\n * Access to ongoing training, development and clinical support\n\n * Competitive salary and benefits package including pension\n\n * Long-term progression and career development opportunities\n\nProcess\n\nInterviews are available immediately, with a quick turnaround for suitable candidates
