SEN Teaching Assistant – Specialist SEN School (Morden)

We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly respected specialist school in Morden, supporting children and young people aged 3–19 with severe and complex learning difficulties, including autism and additional physical and sensory needs.

The Role

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex needs
• Supporting learning, communication, and sensory regulation
• Assisting with personal care and behaviour support where required
• Working closely with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored learning plans
• Helping to create a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in SEN support is essential
• Previous experience working with children or young people with additional needs is highly desirable
• Confident supporting pupils with autism and complex learning difficulties
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and ability to work effectively as part of a team
